The Preschool Place Curriculum
The curriculum is carefully planned to provide continuity and progressive development for each child.  Children will learn to feel positive about themselves as they learn to share and work with other children.  Small class sizes provide for optimum individualized attention for each child.

The curriculum includes

Playgroup: 

• child must be Age 2 by 2/1/08

Mondays 9:00 — 11:00 AM $40/mo

Preschool for Children Age 3

• Must Be Age 3 by September 1, 2008
• Individual attention in classes limited to 16 children.
• Tuition is $70 per month

Tuesday/Thursday Morning, 9-11:30am
Tuesday/Thursday Afternoon, 12:30-3pm

These classes focus on the development of social, language, cognitive, and motor skills in a flexible, but structured environment. A certified teacher and a teacher aid is with the class at all times.

Preschool for Children Age 4

Must Be Age 4 by September 1, 2008
Limit of 19 children in each class.

Four Options
Tuition is $70 per month for this 2-day per week class:

• Monday/Wednesday 12:30-3:00 PM

• Monday/Wednesday/ Friday Morning, 9:00-11:30 AM
• Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Morning,  9:00-11:30 AM
• Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Afternoon,  12:30-3:00 PM

These classes focus on the skills needed to be ready for kindergarten. More emphasis is placed on knowledge of the alphabet and numerals. There are more paper/pencil activities introduced. There is always a certified teacher and teacher aid working with the class.

The Preschool Place of Glade Run Church welcomes you and your child to our family!  Our purpose is to foster the development of the child in all skill areas, in a positive, Christian atmosphere.

The Preschool Place provides a fun, flexible, Christian atmosphere of teaching and learning experiences that will enable your child to:

• Develop a strong, positive self-worth as a valued child of God;
• Formulate social and emotional skills appropriate for home and school;
• Develop cognitive and motor skills appropriate for each child;
• Begin to develop a relationship with God through Bible stories and prayer.

The Preschool Place is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and adheres to their guidelines.

Where To Find Us!
The Preschool Place is located in  the Glade Run Church complex located on Route 8, Middlesex Township.  The complex features a large multi-purpose room and full-size gymnasium.  The classrooms are bright and colorful and provide an inviting "home-away-from-home" environment where your child will make friends, play with a variety of educational toys and grow as a special child of God.  The facility is air-conditioned and meets all state licensing requirements.  Parents are always invited to visit The Preschool Place.

Our Staff
Each class is staffed by one certified teacher and one teacher's aide.  Class size is limited; your child receives individualized love and care each day!

The Teacher/Director is Mrs. Lynn Bridge.  Lynn holds a BS in elementary education and a master's degree in special education.  She is the mother of three children and has taught at The Preschool Place for 17 years.

Mrs. Kim Bazzani is a certified elementary teacher, with a concentration in early childhood education. She is the mother of two sons and has been on staff for 15 years.

Mrs. Lea Steibel is the aide working with Mrs. Bridge.  She has a degree in sociology/anthropology and has been employed at the Intermediate Unit and Mars Home.   She  is the mother of three children and has been on the staff for 9 years.

Kris Cress started to work with Mrs. Bazzani in September of 2007. She has taught Sunday School to preschoolers at Glade Run for many years. She has 3 children who all attended The Preschool Place.

Our staff also participates in a variety of children's programs, including Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, athletic teams, and Glade Run's ROCK program. They also attend continuing education classes and seminars at BC3, Lifesteps, and the intermediate unit
