*When using our facilities, groups must vacate property by 9:30pm.
USE INCLUDES:
Use of kitchen space. Non-members must receive instruction from a church representative on the use of the oven/stove. The dishwasher is not available for use by outside groups. The user must clean all appliances and counter tops. Please bring your own cleaning supplies. The cleaning service will be responsible for floor cleaning.
Tables and chairs as needed. Tablecloths are not provided.
Use of paper products is permitted; user provides all paper products and disposes of said bagged products in dumpster outside.
Use of sound equipment as needed. A sound technician may be required; and additional fee is charged for this service.
Restrooms and showers as needed.
Sporting equipment as needed.
PROHIBITIONS:
Glade Run Church is a smoke-free facility. Use of tobacco products of any type (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, etc.) in any of the interior spaces is prohibited.
Wine or alcohol products are not permitted on the Glade Run Church premises. This includes all interior spaces and exterior grounds (property and parking lots).
There is to be no use of scotch tape, masking tape, other adhesives or any pins or staples on any of the interior or exterior wall surfaces.
Uncaged animals are not permitted in any part of the church building.
Use of glitter or confetti is prohibited.
LIABILITY:
All outside groups or individuals using any of the Glade Run Church facilities must sign a waiver of liability form before using the facility. This form will be provided to you when making arrangements. If this form is not signed and returned to the church office twenty-one working days prior to the scheduled event, the event will be canceled and the group or individual will not be permitted to use the facilities.
Adult (age 18 or over) supervision is required for all events. One adult for each 10 children/young persons is required.
Current Act 34 (criminal background) and Act 151 (child abuse) clearances must be on file for all adults supervising children/young people at any event. Please submit copies of clearances to the church office no later than two working days prior to scheduled event. No one without current Act 34 and 151 clearances on file may serve in a supervisory capacity.
Please report any damage to the church office immediately. Any damage to the building and its contents is the responsibility of the group or individual. The facility will be inspected by church personnel prior to and following each use.
REFUND OF FEES:
Glade Run will not be open for events if the Mars Area School District is closed or dismissed early due to inclement weather. Your fee will be refunded if your event is canceled two business days prior to the scheduled event.
