GLADE RUN

AFFINITY GROUPS

AFFINITY: (af·fin·i·ty) a group of people having a common interest or goal or acting together for a specific purpose.

Affinity groups at Glade Run study the Word of God, share joys and concerns with each other, and perform services to the church and community.

Affinity groups are provided for men, women, young adults, parents, and couples...if you want to join an affinity group, chances are, there's one for you. If not, this is an opportunity to start your own!  New groups are always forming; for details, contact the church office.

If you have any prayer concerns or joys, our prayer chain ministry is ready and willing to lift these requests to the Lord.  Just give Vera Hasley (724-898-3026)  a call and they will pass them on or email Pam Krause at Krause@stargate.net and Kris Cress at pacress@zoominternet.net. Our prayer chain is always looking for new members.  Let Vera know if you would like to be part of the team.

Bethel Bible Study: The Bethel Series is designed for persons who want to thoroughly understand the Bible and apply the Word to their daily lives. The Bethel program consists of 21 Old Testament lessons and 20 New Testament lessons offered over a 2-year period. Bethel students receive Bible reading assignments and a written lesson each week. Each lesson has a colored illustration that visually teaches you the important biblical truths in the lesson. This study meets you where you are at in your understanding of the Bible. Persons with no Bible study experience or with advanced experience will equally benefit from Bethel. Students concentrate on biblical concepts and truths rather than stories. They are taught to see each part of the Bible as it relates to the whole and the entire Bible as it relates to each part. As Bethel increases your knowledge, your faith and personal relationship with our Lord will grow.  Bethel changes your life in a most wonderful way — a spiritual renewal! Please contact the church office,  or Sally McIntyre  724-287-7808 and let us know the day and time that best suits your schedule.

Mothers of Young Children: Looking for a group of moms to spend quality time with?  You are welcome to join the group that meets on Thursdays, 9:30-11am in Heritage Hall.  Laughter, prayer, laughter, fellowship, laughter, Bible study, laughter, joys and concerns form each week’s schedule.  Nursery care is provided.
